The 2026 season opens in Baldev
The first four camps of the 2026 drive, between 12 and 31 July, brought 16,000 fruit saplings to more than 1,500 farmers of Baldev and Farah.

The fifteenth season of the Vriksh Mitra–Gram Mitra Abhiyan opened on 12 July 2026 at Bauhre Khacher Singh Senior Secondary School in Bandi, Baldev block, where 388 farmers each received a packet of ten fruit saplings — two each of jamun, pomegranate, lemon, guava and mulberry. A week later, on 19 July, 394 farmers gathered at the Shri Mohan Singh Marriage Home in Valtikari, Jugsana. On 24 July, Chhaunkar Inter College in Nagla Kharga hosted 358 farmers from 23 villages, with 32 more collecting their packets afterwards.
The fourth camp, on 31 July, moved to the Madhukar Sabhagar at Deendayal Dham, Nagla Chandrabhan, where 382 farmers from 20 villages took part. Each camp distributed 4,000 saplings, and each host school or hall received a packet for its own grounds. The Foundation's Virendra explained to every gathering why fruit trees matter and how to plant and protect them, and local principals, pradhans and volunteers did the rest.
