Sunday medical camps at the new hostel

From June 2025 the Maharana Chhatravas at Ramalay Parisar became a free clinic every Sunday for the villages around it.

A free medical camp at the new Maharana Chhatravas, June 2025

Even before its first children moved in, the Maharana Chhatravas at Ramalay Parisar, near Rithora, began serving its neighbours. On Sunday 8 June 2025 the Foundation held a free medical camp there in memory of the late Smt Sheela Mishra, wife of the Foundation's patron Dr Yogesh Mishra. Dr Udit Garg treated 46 patients from Naugava Jagir and Mohanpur, and each went home with five to ten days of free medicine.

The camp became a Sunday fixture. When the doctors returned on 15 June, the patients of the week before came back to say their medicines had worked; one Mohanpur father brought his one-year-old daughter, whose weeks of hiccups and vomiting had finally stopped. On 29 June, 38 patients came from Barkapur, Singhai Kayasthan, Adupura, Moharniyan, Naugava Jagir and Mohanpur; on 20 July Dr Virendra Jaiswar treated 26 patients from four villages; and the eighth camp of the year, on 21 September, saw 28 patients from Naugava Jagir, Mohanpur and Kalapur.

Shri Vinay, Shri Kamal, Shri Midhai Lal, Shri Govind, Shri Rishipal, Shri Rajveer and other workers run the camps.
