Ration kits through the lockdown
When schools closed in the COVID-19 lockdown, the Foundation's vehicle went to the Gadhiya Lohar settlements with groceries instead of schoolbooks.

The COVID-19 lockdown closed the schools that the Indradhanush children attend, and with them the daily work that their families depend on. Families living in roadside tents had no savings to fall back on.
So in 2020–21 the Foundation's vehicle, which normally carries children to school, carried groceries and essentials instead. Ration kits were delivered settlement by settlement to the families of the Indradhanush children across Bareilly, so that no child went hungry while the schools stayed shut.
With fees reduced and transport suspended, the project's cost fell to ₹14.57 lakh that year for 133 children — and the money saved went into the kits.
