2015: the first full year in school
Books in April, a programme in May, a hall full of children in June: how Indradhanush's first year with the Gadhiya Lohar children looked.

By the spring of 2015, 53 children from the Gadhiya Lohar settlements of Delapeer, Kudesiya and Transport Nagar had been admitted to schools in Bareilly. The year that followed was the first in which the Foundation carried them through a whole school year.
On 15 April 2015 the children received their books and school bags for the new session. On 3 May a programme brought the children and their parents together with the Foundation's supporters, and on 28 June the children filled a hall in Bareilly for a gathering of their own. Through the year an auto-rickshaw collected the children of each settlement for school and tuition, and coaching teachers worked with them in the evenings.
The year's accounts tell the rest: school fees for three settlements, auto-rickshaw hire, coaching fees, books and copies, uniforms, shoes, sweaters, mufflers, inners and socks, slates and a whiteboard — ₹4.67 lakh in all, met by the Foundation's individual donors.
