Fruit trees for Amethi
In 2015 and 2016 the campaign carried more than 1.2 lakh saplings to the villages of Amethi, and Union Minister Smriti Irani joined the farmers at Haliyapur and Dhammor.

The campaign's first big step beyond Bareilly was Amethi. On 20 September 2015, farmers from 21 villages gathered at Shrimati Shiv Dulari Mahila Mahavidyalaya in Gungwachh, and farmers from 11 more villages at Gurukul Gyan Academy in Gauriganj. Two days later, 28 villages collected their saplings at Tikarmafi Ashram. Village by village the numbers were written down — 1,806 saplings for Amemafi, 2,011 for Bhimi, 1,272 for Thegha — until the season's total for Amethi and Gauriganj reached 60,000 saplings in 64 villages. Union Minister Smt. Smriti Irani, Amethi's Member of Parliament, was present at the 2015 planting and praised the campaign.
The Foundation came back in 2016 with 64,000 more saplings for 102 villages in the Dhammor, Haliyapur and Paritosh areas, reaching into Jagdishpur and Tiloi. On 20 September 2016, Union Minister Smt. Smriti Irani distributed fruit-bearing saplings with the Foundation at Haliyapur and Dhammor. That year 5,000 families in about 100 villages of Amethi also received packets of vegetable seeds, so that their kitchens would have greens long before the trees bore fruit.
