Two nights away: the first residential camp
In June 2019 the Gadhiya Lohar children of Indradhanush spent two days and a night together at Kanti Kapoor School, Bareilly.

Children who grow up in roadside tents rarely spend a night anywhere else. In June 2019 the Foundation held its first two-day residential camp for the Gadhiya Lohar children of Indradhanush, at Kanti Kapoor School in Bareilly.
The camp mixed purpose with play: games, songs, lessons and meals together, with the volunteers staying alongside the children throughout. "It brought us closer to the children's lives than ever before," the Foundation wrote afterwards, "and for the children it was an experience they may never forget."
