A doctor on wheels: the medical van
On 18 March 2018 the Foundation inaugurated its own medical van, taking a doctor and medicines to the villages of Nawabganj block every week.

Since 2011 the Foundation has run medical camps in the villages of Nawabganj block, Bareilly. A retired doctor travels with medicines and staff to fixed village centres on fixed days; volunteers register patients, and the Foundation provides the medicines. By 2018 the camps covered 8 to 12 villages a day and treated about 1,000 patients a month.
On 18 March 2018 the work got its own vehicle. The Foundation's medical van, white with the Khushhali logo and a red cross, was inaugurated in Bareilly and put to work at once, carrying the doctor, medicines and equipment to villages further from the road.
Specialist doctors from Bareilly volunteer their Sundays too. In the first five months of 2018, camps at Navadiya, Matkula, Aaspur and Richhola Tarachand were led by surgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, paediatricians and physicians, and saw about 980 patients — on one Sunday in April, 103 patients at Navadiya alone.
