After four years of steady work in Bareilly, the Foundation turned the campaign into a maha-abhiyan in 2015. More than 70,000 saplings were planted in the month of August alone, and by the end of the monsoon the total crossed 1.30 lakh.

  • Bareilly: 53,000 saplings in 54 villages. The season opened on 2 August 2015 with a programme at which the bhoomi poojan of the Indradhanush hostel was also performed.
  • Amethi and Gauriganj: 60,000 saplings in 64 villages. On 20 September camps at Shrimati Shiv Dulari Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Gungwachh, and Gurukul Gyan Academy, Gauriganj, served 32 villages, and a further 28 villages collected their saplings at Tikarmafi Ashram on 22 September.
  • Mathura: 10,000 saplings in 18 villages, from 16 August.
  • Dehradun: 10,000 saplings in 13 villages, including Bansowala, Jhadowala, Badripur and Shahpur.
  • Sonipat, Haryana: a few hundred saplings in Jagdishpur village, planted with students of IIT Delhi.

The same autumn, vegetable seed packets reached 3,500 families in 52 villages of Bareilly.
